<DIV>Thank heavens that Saundra and Tom (both good friends of mine I am proud to
say) aren't amused by a ill-considered *joke.* Further, I am outraged by
the failure of the prosecutor to prosecute a murder charge. Her
angst is sickening. If there were other *adults* in the house, IMO,
they should all be charged and see what shakes out. To stand by and
witness child abuse is the equivalent of participating. Which of course
brings to mind Saundra's signature line "The only thing necessary for the
triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing." I wish we would all be
inspired by that sentiment and have the courage and the good sense to act on
it.</DIV>
