Anyway, if we really want to discuss spiritual concepts with an open mind, exploring this dimension of human reality, we could pick a much more exciting and thought provoking system of thought than the doctrinaire straight jacket forced upon us by various forms of fundamentalist Christianity.<BR>

How about Teilhard de Chardin? His thinking on spirituality and science is in some respects refreshing and innovative, though Stephen Jay Gould thought Chardin was culpable in the Piltdown man fraud scandal.<BR>
