Yes, this is well documented. Humans are one of the most capable long distance migration animals on earth. You want proof? The world record for a 24 hour human run is over 170 miles. Some humans have hunted just by running their prey to exhaustion, then killing them with ease. Many animals on earth are faster than we are, but very few if any can outdo a human being in good shape in the long haul.<BR>

It is amazing how far out of touch people are with their evolutionary biological capabilities in this regard. People act like a marathon is a big deal. 26.2 miles is just getting warmed up for an ultra marathoner.<BR>
