<DIV>I was an ABB (Anybody But Bush) party member until after the second
debate between Bush and Kerry. Kerry won all three debates and made a good
showing for himself, answered the questions much better than
Bush, and I now have shifted my allegiance to Mr. Kerry. The thing
that was very clear in the debates was that Kerry was 4 times more presidential
than Bush. Bush was so bad I can't imagine him sitting around a table
discussing world affairs with other world leaders representing us. He is not
someone I want representing our country and he LIED big time to the American
people about the reasons for going to war. </DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#800000 size=2>so someone in political
office "lied", okay. I think the list of politicians who didn't lie is a
helluva lot shorter. Personally, finding WMD's or not, I'd bet dollars
to donuts that they are there somewhere. Plenty of places to hide stuff
out there in the desert. I'm not a "political scientist", nor do I watch
every freakin' news show or check out every news website on the internet (I'll
leave that to Wayne ;^) ), but I have heard rumblings of sattelite pictures
where it looked like a lot of (for lack of a better term -- forgive me, I'm in
a feverish fog, damn the lack of a flu shot!) "stuff" heading out the back
gate just as the UN weapons inspectors were having all their papers checked
out at the front gate. Maybe it's just me, but that seems kinda
suspicious.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#800000 size=2>As far as the military
record, I don't have to answer anyones questions about anything, but I could
give a rip about either candidates record during that era. I don't care
how Kerry got his medals, I don't care if Bush was AWOL (which I think
documents asserting that were proven false). If nothing else, Bush's
heart is in the right place -- keep America safe.</FONT></DIV>

presidential authority to promote lies or falsehoods are not my only
issue. Where did you get that idea? The same place Bush got his
false notions of Iraq's nuclear weapons program which he used to scare the
American people?<BR><BR>Read what I wrote: <BR><BR>"Bush supporters must
answer this critique of the Bush administration before any other issue is even
worth moving on to: it is critical to the evaluation of the integrity of our

must answer this issue.<BR><BR>Bush's falsehoods which he used to justify
leading us to war are such a critical issue I cannot understand anyone
dismissing this based on rational grounds. You can substitute other
reasons for invading Iraq all you want, as you just did, using the "we removed
Saddam and are setting up a democracy" rational. But this does not
change the fact that Bush used WMDs as a prime reason to invade, based on
bogus claims that were very specific, regarding yellow cake from Niger, and
aluminum tubes for a nuclear centrifuge, as evidence of Iraq's nuclear weapons
development. These claims were known at the time Bush made them to be
false! They are now known with even more certainty to be total
BS!<BR><BR>So you appear willing to excuse our Commander in Chief using
falsehoods to lead the American people to war? This glaring example of
misjudgment on Bush's part is far more important to me than his National Guard
controversy. It is in fact a horrendous example of his misjudgments in
his "military" duties as Commander in Chief while president!<BR><BR>Please
explain how using falsehoods to lead the American people to war is evidence
that Bush has good judgment and integrity?<BR><BR>You obviously dodged this
issue in your reply that I am answering.<BR><BR>Ted Moffett</FONT> </FONT>
