w:st="on">Lake</st1:PlaceName> area of <st1:place w:st="on">North Idaho</st1:place>.
When I retired from the service, I could have retired to <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Los Angeles</st1:place></st1:City>. I chose not to. <st1:City
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Los Angeles</st1:place></st1:City> is 8 million
people with 8 million attitudes (none of them warm and fuzzy). My folks
(for the first few years of my retirement from the service) wondered why I did
not retire to <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Los Angeles</st1:place></st1:City>.
That was until I invited them up here (while I was attending UI) to go to some
Vandal football games. After a couple visits up here, they understood one
of the main reasons I chose <st1:place w:st="on">North Idaho</st1:place>.
Attitude.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
