The Weekend

The weekend is here at last, so you can smile.
Even if it's for a little while.
Enjoy your weekend just have some fun.
The week is over, your work is done.
Saturday is waiting just for you.
So find yourself something good to do.
Maybe you like cookouts, I don't know,
or maybe to the beach you will go.
Dads, show your kids you're a loving man.
Take them all somewhere nice if you can.
To give your family one great sigh.
Moms, bake them all a big apple pie. 
The weekend is here, if for awhile,
so be happy, and put on a smile.
