> In the Lewiston Tribune June 16 we read, “Food banks feel pinch of inflation.” And “more people are frequenting food assistance programs and fewer donations are coming in.” This means the GREAT MOSCOW FOOD DRIVE is more important than ever and we are counting on our wonderful, generous community members to come together to be part of this effort.
> The FOOD DRIVE, sponsored by the Latah County Human Rights Task Force and the Moscow Human Rights Commission, will take place on SATURDAY, AUG 20 8am to 1pm at Moscow East City Park, corner of 3rd and Hayes and at the MOSCOW FARMERS MARKET near the bus stop. Please 1) bring non-perishable food and household items to either; 2) make an additional cash donation through www.humanrighslatah.org and 3) spread the word to your friends, facebook and email lists. The donation button is live now at the Task Force website. You may also send checks to Latah County Human Rights Task Force, Box 8613, Moscow, ID 83843. All donations pass through directly to the Food Drive.
