I've never purchased (or even used one already installed, that I recall) an
air conditioner for any apartment or house I've lived in, yet this
forecast with the warm overnight temperatures may inspire a change in
behavior.

I'll pay for electricity for cooling, electrons sourced from greenhouse gas
contributing technology, increasing global warming, to adapt to the impacts
of anthropogenic global climate change!

I have a friend who was a fellow classmate at Moscow High School 1965-69
who now lives in Arizona.  Air conditioning there is mandatory for many, or
risk serious health impairments!

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Record heat will arrive Saturday and may linger into next
Wednesday. Much of the Inland Northwest will experience several
days of triple digit temperatures in the afternoon threatening
many long standing records. With warm overnight temperatures,
homes without air conditioning may remain uncomfortably warm
through the night. The combination of excessive heat during the
day and unusually warm conditions overnight will push Heat Risk
values into the high or very high category this weekend and early
next week.
