If James Hansen, Bill McKibben, Al Gore, Greta Thunberg et. al. were and
are mostly ignored or dismissed by those in powerful positions in
government and business, for over the past thirty years since James
Hansen's testimony before the US Congress on global warming in 1988, why
should we expect those in power to follow Gates proposals?
Oh, of course, he has more money than all those named above combined?
*I guess money can't buy everything, given I doubt the powerful interests
determined to maintain our mostly fossil fuel powered
multinational corporate economic system, will largely implement Gates
massive rapid overhaul of global energy generation. Prepare the next
generation for a global climate disaster, seems like the best to hope
for! *
