[Vision2020] Where were you fifty years ago today (August 31, 1971) ?

August 31, 1971 - I was in the Army, assigned to Company D, 71st Maintenance Battalion, Merrell Barracks (Nurnberg, Germany), where the first two things I learned about Germany were the legal drinking age of 16 and the government-regulated sex industry. What better place is there for a single guy to celebrate his 19th birthay?
