Demonstration in Stuttgart, June 13
On Saturday, June 13, there will be a “Black Lives Matter” anti-racism demonstration from 1 to 3 p.m. in Bad Cannstatt. The demonstration is registered with Stuttgart officials and is expected to have 350 participants.

The military advises all U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart community members to avoid off-post demonstrations. While demonstrations may have peaceful intentions, attendance by agitators or counter-demonstrators may occur.

General guidance on demonstrations follows:

If a USAG Stuttgart community member unexpectedly encounters a demonstration that is less than peaceful, departing the area quickly is advised.
If not, find shelter until it’s safe to depart.
Follow instructions of host nation officials.
Don’t engage with people protesting, who sometimes linger after a demonstration is finished.

If I were to describe the attitude of the people in Stuttgart, Germany . . . Its an overgrown Moscow (the one in Idaho).
