[Vision2020] Memories from back in the day . . .

The only other active organization in the San Fernando Valley back then was the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society).  They “spoke my language”.  But, it seemed that SDS members spent a lot of their time in and out of jail, something that didn’t appeal to me (since I was still a student in high school).  

I felt that I had to join a community group.  My dad being a cop and all pretty much eliminated the SDS as an option.

So, I joined VIVA and partook in some of their rallies.
