Tickets are now on sale for 2020 Martin Luther King Jr.- Human Rights Community Breakfast sponsored annually by the Latah County Human Rights Task Force with the assistance of the City of Moscow Human Rights Commission and the University of Idaho Office of Multicultural Affairs.
 
The Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, January 18 at 9am at Moscow Middle School Multipurpose Room. The event is presented to commemorate and affirm the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as they relate to our lives and futures. Tickets priced at $10 general admission and $5 for students and youth, including university students, are available at Bookpeople of Moscow, Paradise Ridge CD's, and through the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
 
The event includes a full home-made breakfast; presentation of the Rosa Parks Awards for Human Rights Achievement; announcement of winners in the Martin Luther King Art and Essay Contest; entertainment by Adrian  Crookston; and a keynote address by Jeremy Woodson, Manager of Community Engagement for ACLU Idaho. His address will deal with "The Right to  Vote: Access and Challenges. All profits from the Breakfast are used to provide human rights and diversity programs for Latah County schools.
