Dulce Kersting-Lark presented "Rural America, Then and Now: How Persistent Change Shapes Communities" at the League of Women Voters of Moscow (LWV-Moscow) forum on Wednesday (Sept. 18) at the 1912 Center.
In conjunction with the Smithsonian traveling exhibit on display in Moscow, Kersting-Lark will explore some of the major forces of change in rural America over the last 100 years and facilitate a conversation with attendees about what the future may hold.
Kersting-Lark is the executive director of the Latah County Historical Society and holds a master's degree in public history from Washington State University. She is the project coordinator for the Moscow exhibition of "Crossroads: Change in Rural America."
