Enjoy the bridge

I wish I could be present for the upcoming dedication and celebration of the Willow Crossing Pedestrian-Bicycle Bridge in Moscow. It’s wonderful that this is finally a reality after years and years of testimonies, letters, petitions, contributions, and requests to the city. Much thanks to Jim Boland and the other Moscow City Council members who care about safety and the quality of life in Moscow.

I am in Boulder, Colo., recovering from eye surgery. It is beautiful here, but how I miss the community spirit and neighborly warmth of our amazing town. Let us cherish and protect the things that make Moscow unique and livable, and enjoy the bridge!
