Kansas soldier surprises wife, newborn twins in viral video

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) - A soldier's homecoming in Topeka has now gone viral on social media after he surprised his wife after she gave birth to twin girls. 

The heartwarming video shows Army Staff Sergeant Skyler Cooper coming through the door with flowers in hand.  He wasn't expected home from Kuwait unitl later in the spring. 

However, his wife Cydney went into premature labor with the flu and had to have an emergency C-Section a week before the video was taken. 

Skylar said his battalion commander was able to pull a few strings so he could get home to his wife and brand new babies. 

"He can't surprise me ever," said Cydney. "That was the first time that that ever panned out for him."

Cydney said their twin girls are healthy. 

The sweet reunion has been viewed over four million times online.

A video of U.S. Staff Sergeant Skylar Cooper returning home to his wife who had just given birth to twins, is going viral. Cooper had been expected to return home to Topeka, Kansas sometime in the spring.
