However, if you are a virgin during high school and years after, this
somehow indicates you were not involved in sexual harassment or assault or
sexually related battery, etc?
Kavanaugh Tells Fox News He Was a Virgin in High School and 'For Many Years
Thereafter'
http://time.com/5405319/brett-kavanaugh-fox-news-virgin-supreme-court/
This public comment by Kavanaugh, more than any other statement I have
understood him to utter, convinced me that he is lacking in an
understanding of or
empathy for important women's issues.
Also, Shakespeare's famous line might be relevant: "*The lady doth protest
too much, methinks*"
To brag about virginity might be protesting too much!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_lady_doth_protest_too_much,_methinks
As Wikipedia indicates in bold italics below:
*"The phrase is used in everyday speech to indicate doubt in someone's
sincerity."*
And furthermore I add, as anyone with even a cursory study of the
psychology of sexual harassment or assault or rape etc. knows, this violent
or abusive behavior is often not about "having sex" necessarily, but rather
asserting control or power or aggression over another human being.
