[Vision2020] Indigenous Peoples Day 2018 in Friendship Square

On October 8th the Moscow Human Rights Commission presented the first annual celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day in Moscow’s Friendship Square.
Presenters included:
Jeanette Weasksus, of the Nez Perce, who told a creation story;
Barry Moses, a member of the Spokane Tribe who shared personal anecdotes with the crowd.
Blackfoot Elder Roger Vielle, who shared a story about how the hide drum employed by his people came to be.
