Many people are angry about events that they do not even consciously admit
to themselves, or do not understand the origins of, but the anger must be
projected somewhere... This renders them easily manipulated by demagogues
like Trump...

Get angry about immigrants, Blacks, Muslims, Crooked Hilary, sinister Big
Government Democrats... They are the cause of our problems!

One irony of this propaganda is that Trump is doing the bidding of powerful
political economic interests who are causally involved in creating the
economic, political and social disenfranchisement that many in
the US are angry about!

Thus they are being manipulated to support the very forces conspiring
against them... The stagnation or even reductions in lower to middle-class
income in inflation adjusted dollars in the US in recent decades is a good
example.
