It is incredible to witness the manner in which many seize on the cold
weather the US is experiencing this winter 2017-18 as evidence that
anthropogenic global warming is somehow not a credible proposition.
But often cold local weather or large snowstorms are referenced as evidence
to ridicule climate change

Also incredible how many people in general appear to require an explanation
for how winter weather can be so extremely cold in the US (the contiguous
US is a mere 1.5 percent of total global surface area), as global warming
is underway.

Anyone with a cursory survey of this subject as easy as Google ABC, will
find credible science on this issue, dating back years.  A few samples:
