Due to a weapons offense that occurred earlier today in Moscow (not at Gritman Medical Center) the Moscow Police Department in coordination with Gritman leadership placed the hospital on lockdown. The hospital will remain on lockdown until law enforcement has determined it is safe to return to normal operations. The hospital is open for all emergency services and regular patient visitation. Any person needing to enter the hospital must use the emergency entrance located on main street. Law enforcement is on site and extra screening measures are being used out of an abundance of caution. All staff, patients, and visitors at the hospital are safe. More updates will be provided as they become available.
