I loved Lola! She was a joy. Her brother Bert Gamble, the Poet of the
Palouse, lived at Paradise Villa, a nursing home my parents owned. Lola was
a devoted sister who came to see Bert every day. For you short timers,
Paradise Villa is now Aspen Park.

As I am on my phone, I am unable to view the entire article.... Only the
image of the beautiful green fields. Can everyone else see the photo of
Lola holding her pie? It is a treasure!

Phil Schofield, the photographer who did the shoot was the photographer for
The Daily Idahonian for quite a few years. The shoot for National
Geographic was the beginning of a 20 year contract relationship with
National Geographic.

Just a little Moscow trivia for you Tom... http://www.philschophoto.com

All y'all have a grand weekend..
