Attached you may find a one-page history of the volatility of the Dow 
Jones Industrial Average from 1899 to 2016.  It is interesting to note 
that, aside from the Great Depression era of the 1930s, the two most 
extreme and sharpest increases in Dow volatility have been associated 
with the two Bush presidencies.  Regarding Trump: Caveat!
