This would be of some minor interest if the pipeline did actually cross
over some portion of the standing rock reservation. Not that it would
matter since compensated easements are covered in the treaty and are the
same as those utilized when the pipeline DID cross over the fort berthold
reservation with tribal consent. (approved by a 5-0 vote with 2 abstentions
on 12-02-2015)
