Worker killed in an accident at a City of Moscow job site

A Motley and Motley employee was killed in an industrial accident this morning in Moscow.  The person’s name has not been released.  Moscow volunteer firefighters and police responded to the accident about 9:30 this morning at the city’s Vista Water Tank site off Hathaway Street in East Moscow.  The victim was transported to Gritman Medical Center in Moscow.  The employee was working on the city’s booster station replacement project which has been contracted out to the Pullman Company.  The fatal accident occurred while work was being conducted to backfill a trench in some landscaping.  Appropriate authorities have been notified of the incident.
