I selected 1969 as it was the year I entered a recruiter's office on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, California and enlisted into the US Army.  Come to think about it, it is probably one of the best decisions I've made.  Had that not happened, the only Moscow I'd know would be the one in Russia.

How 'bout it, V-Peeps?  Is there a memory of a special event in your "Back in the Days" diary you might care to share?  Heck, I'll even commemorate it with some songs . . . from back then.
