Crime in Moscow as at it’s lowest level in decades
Criminal activity in Moscow is as low as it’s been in decades.  The 2015 crime numbers for Idaho were recently released by the state police.  Last year the Moscow Police Department responded to less than a thousand crimes.  The mark of 928 cases is the first time since at least 1995 that the number has been below a thousand.  That’s as far back as the state police’s online records go.  Nearly every category of criminal activity in Moscow dropped last year.  Major decreases were scene in burglary, larceny, vehicle theft and DUI’s.  Total arrests by the Moscow PD dropped significantly last year as well to just over 400.  The decline in total crime in town plunged a quarter last year compared to 2014.  The Latah County Sheriff’s Office saw it’s crime statistics hold pretty steady from 2014 to 2015.
