Vehicle lands on its roof after crash south of Moscow

A 68-year-old Genesee man traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 95 hit a patch of snow and went off the west shoulder of the road around 11:46 a.m. Thursday at mile post 341.5 south of Moscow, according to Idaho State Police Trooper Patrick Burke.

Burke said the 1989 Toyota Camry came to rest on its roof.

The driver reported minor back pain but refused a medical transport, Burke said.

He said the man, who was wearing a seatbelt, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

A tow truck flipped the vehicle back onto its tires and the man drove away from the crash, Burke said.
