Moscow Farmers Market – Activities for October 17th

October 15, 2015 (Moscow, Idaho) – Join us Saturday, October 17th for the Moscow Farmers Market on Main Street and in Friendship Square in Downtown Moscow! The Market runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. May through October and features live music, fresh local produce, delicious homemade baked goods, specialty food items, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers, and quality handmade crafts.

Music: Live music at Friendship Square will be provided by Steve Bonnar at 9:30 a.m. followed by Shiloh at 11:00 a.m.

Special Events: The Market will feature Number One Market in State of Idaho Celebration from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. by the City Tent (next to the clock in Friendship Square). Canine Companions for Independence from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. by the fountain in Friendship Square. Keep the Beat Moscow from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by the fountain in Friendship Square. City of Moscow High Five Passport Program with a kid’s activity from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on 5th Street.

The Moscow Farmers Market was rated the #1 market in the State of Idaho and one of the top 25 markets in the nation in American Farmland Trust's farmers market celebration. The Number One Market in State of Idaho Celebration is to thank the market patrons, vendors, and citizens of Moscow for helping the Moscow Farmers Market achieve this accomplishment. Mayor Bill Lambert will be giving away 100 free cupcakes graciously donated by Gritman Medical Center as part of this celebration.

Vendor of the Week: Alison Meyer Photography from Worley, ID. Product highlights include: matted and framed photographs; photos printed on canvas, wood, metal and tile; note cards; Palouse calendars; stationery; Palouse books and more. Alison Meyer Photography has been a vendor in the Moscow Farmers Market for 23 years.

Shop the Market: Area families can use EBT or SNAP benefits. Visit the Shop the Market booth at the City Tent, by the clock in Friendship Square, to receive “Market Money” which vendors will accept for approved purchases.


Please remember that no animals, except for ADA service dogs, are allowed at the Moscow Farmers Market.
