City Hosts Indian Hills and Itani Park Design Workshops
May 13, 2015 (Moscow, Idaho) - The City of Moscow Parks and Recreation Department invites interested citizens to attend the first of two sets of park design workshops on the evening of May 20th. The parks being designed are Indian Hills Park and Itani Park. The workshops will include interactive sessions and gathering of public input for the designs of these two parks. Workshops will be held at the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center located at 1724 E 'F' Street, Moscow, Idaho. The first workshop is for Indian Hills Park and is set to start at 6:00 p.m. the second workshop is for Itani Park and is set to start at 7:30 p.m. Citizens can participate in either or both workshops.
The sessions will consist of a brief presentation followed by small group discussion. The information collected will be translated into design concepts and will be brought back to the citizens for a second workshop for refinement at a later date. The final designs will be presented to the City of Moscow Parks and Recreation Commission on June 25th who will in turn send their recommendations on to the Moscow City Council for consideration.
The City has teamed up with Bernardo-Wills Architects PC, to assist with these very important design projects.
