Create incredible cardboard castles for cats with Poopy Cat's BLOCKS
We all know that cats like boxes. And that cats have a superiority complex. So castles made out of modular cardboard boxes are sure to appeal to our feline overlords.

Poopy Cat usually makes disposable cardboard litter trays, but it's branched out into making incredible modular structures for cats that can be assembled, like flatpack IKEA furniture, into enormous palaces, playhouses and other furr-brications. 

The BLOCKS system comes with two beams, two cubes, a tunnel, a bridge, a slide and two types of connectors. They just need to be folded into shape and slotted together.

Although only made from cardboard, the BLOCKS are incredibly sturdy once assembled - and can support the weight of a human.

The company says that the system "stimulates mental and physical exercise in a natural way for cats of all ages" adding that it helps indoor cats fight against boredom and obesity.

Thomas Vles, the founder of Poopy Cat, told Mirror Online that coming up with the idea wasn't the difficult part. "The elements and connection method were logical and modular," he told us.

However, the fine-tuning to make sure that the modules slotted together correctly was a challenge. "We needed to test prototypes with variations as small as 0.5 mm to get it just right."

Poopy Cat has been raising money for BLOCKS through preorders on Kickstarter and has already smashed its goal.

If you are worried whether your cat will fit through the holes in the modules, Poopy Cat says it's been tested extensively.

"Basically everything up until ragdoll-sized cats will have fun in BLOCKS. Still doubting if your obese or overly masculine kitty will fit? Send us a picture and we will let you know.
