[Vision2020] Moscow City Council Session (January 5, 2015)

Why did the Moscow City Council NOT pledge allegiance to the flag at last night's city council session?

It's a fair question. There should be enough members on the city council who are holier-than-thou conservatives demanding not only a recitation of the pledge but also a bellowing emphasis of the 'UNDER GOD' addition. If it's not on the agenda, it's easy to see why this would be missed so I wouldn't raise this to the level of a conspiracy and I wouldn't take as disrespecting the Stars and Stripes. The simple solution is to just add it to the agenda. Also, in the spirit of diversity there should be at least one council member who strenuously objects to its recitation. Maybe Area Man can take this one for the team.

Why did the Moscow City Council NOT pledge allegiance to the flag at last night's city council session?

I suspect space aliens and their blasted mind control helmets! I just wish I knew what their nefarious plan was.

Either way, if this is the most egregious transgression committed by

our nefarious council in 2015, I'll be a very happy citizen. You, on

the other hand, are free to remain outraged. Carry on.
