> A man went to a far off monastery in the mountains to become a monk. Once there you were required to pray and meditate for ten years before you were allowed to say one word. After ten years he was brought in front of the patriarch to say his one word and it was 'the'. After ten more years of praying and meditating he was allowed to say his second word to the patriarch which was 'food'. finally after another ten years of praying and meditating he was allowed to say another word and it was 'stinks'. The patriarch then looked at him and said 'ever since you came here all you do is complain.
