> August 24, 2015 (Moscow, Idaho) – Join us Saturday, August 29th for the Moscow Farmers Market on Main Street and in Friendship Square in Downtown Moscow! The Market runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. May through October and features live music, fresh local produce, delicious homemade baked goods, specialty food items, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers, and quality handmade crafts.

> Music: Live music at Friendship Square will be provided by Blue Funk Jailbreak at 9:30 a.m. followed by Potatohead at 11:00 a.m.

> Special Events: The market will feature the Moscow Sustainable Environment Commission from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. by the City Tent (next to the clock in Friendship Square). Canine Companions for Independence from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. by the fountain in Friendship Square. Also, don’t miss the University of Idaho Extension with the Master Gardeners from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and a demonstration on container gardening from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. by the fountain in Friendship Square.

> Vendor of the Week: Peepers Childrens Clothing from Pullman, WA. Product highlights include: children’s clothing, doll clothes, blankets, burpers, bibs, and more. Peepers Childrens Clothing has been a vendor in the Moscow Farmers Market for many years.

> Shop the Market: Area families can use EBT or SNAP benefits. Visit the Shop the Market booth at the City Tent, by the clock in Friendship Square, to receive “Market Money” which vendors will accept for approved purchases.

> Please remember that no animals, except for ADA service dogs, are allowed at the Moscow Farmers Market.
