April 7, 2015 - The Moscow Arts Commission, in conjunction with Broadsided Press and the Association for the Study of Literature and the Environment (ASLE), is seeking submissions for the 3rd annual Broadsides on the Bus.

Visual artists are asked to respond to (or to submit existing original work that would be well-paired with) any of the four poems included in the call for visual art. The winning visual art, selected by a Committee of the Moscow Arts Commission, will be turned into tabloid-sized broadsides (the poem excerpt paired with the art), which will be displayed on city buses and in the Transit Center. The opening reception will occur at 4:00 p.m. on June 12th (Moscow Artwalk), and the work will be left on display through the week of June 22nd (when the national ASLE Conference will occur in Moscow). The original art and poems, along with runners-up, will also be displayed in the Transit Center. The broadsides will additionally be displayed on the website of Broadsided Press: www.broadsidedpress.org<http://www.broadsidedpress.org>.
