525 S. Jackson Streetscape Enhancement Development Agreement - Les MacDonald

Moscow Investments, LLC is in the process of developing the property located at 525 S. Jackson Street with a new multi-tenant commercial building. Although no improvements to the public right of way were required by the project, as part of the project, improvements to the sidewalk and public right of way along Jackson Street adjacent to the project have been identified that would provide both public and private benefit and enhance pedestrian mobility and ADA accessibility in the area. The project would remove the existing sub-standard turn lane on Jackson and shift the curb line eastward to widen the existing 6 foot wide sidewalk to 13 feet in width and include the installation of new properly sized tree wells and grates, new street trees, and historic light fixtures. The project would match the improvements previously approved by the Council for the EMSI project north of the subject property on Jackson Street, with a similar cost sharing arrangement as is detailed the attached draft development agreement. The proposed improvements are current in design and once complete will be submitted to the Idaho Transportation Department for their review and approval.
