[Vision2020] Pullman's first pot shop opens Saturday

No, I’m find with both positions, so no double-standard there :) I’m fine with education and discussion, but I’m not much of a fan of scare tactics that have been proven time & again to be unsuccessful.

What I do find curious is that repeated expressed excitement about legal alcohol consumption hasn’t prompted similar responses from you in spite of the serious health concerns. To me, that seems to be your double-standard, yes?

So, one member expressing excitement and frequently extolling the benefits of marijuana is acceptable. Another member writing icassionally expressing an opinion on said drugs negative impacts isn't? Double standard?

After we finished our tasks and were heading back to the freeway, we passed by one of the “pot shops” there, and being the curious kind, we decided to stop in & see what they are like. If the one in Pullman will be anything like the one in Spokane, it was a very professional set-up not at all like the kind of “head shop” atmosphere we were anticipating. I think they must be used to having looky loos J In any case, since we were the only people in the shop, the “budmaster” kindly gave us a tour, which was a hoot! He was very knowledgeable about the products (I’m not, so much of the education went over my head) and the shop was very clean and almost clinical in appearance.

It reminded me of the time back in the Dark Ages when a group of girlfriends took me to an adult bookstore shortly after I turned 18 and we giggled up a storm. We didn’t buy anything then or now, but the experience was entertaining and something I’m sure I’ll fondly remember for the rest of my life. I don’t think either my dh or I ever thought we’d be able to go into store where marijuana was legally being sold in our lifetimes, so it was a fun first.
