U.S. House Bill 5682, the "Keystone XL Pipeline" bill, was sponsored by Republican Bill Cassidy, Ms. Landrieu's opponent for her Senate seat.

What we had here was a Democrat promoting a bill sponsored by a Republican, the Democrat's opponent.
