[Vision2020] Moscow Fire Department Badge

I am thinking of procuring the badge depicted in the photo below.

Could any of you fine V-Peeps (you listenin', Area Man?) authenticate (to one degree or another) the authenticity of its design?

The text that accompanied these photos:

"Moscow, Idaho - Fire Dept. Badge # 6 - Made by Pearse Co., Denver.
PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR OVERSIZED PHOTOS OF THE BADGE TO BEST VIEW DETAIL AND CONDITION.
The badge is in excellent vintage condition and the pinback opens and closes easily as designed.  Appears to be nickel silver construction.  I have not cleaned the badge and will leave the decision to clean up to the new owner.
The badge measures approximately 1 3/4 X 1 1/2 inches.





If I decide to purchase the badge, and it is received, I will donate it to the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department.
