Moscow Farmers Market – Activities for June 7th

June 03, 2014 (Moscow, Idaho) – Join us Saturday, June 7st for the Moscow Farmers Market on Main Street and in Friendship Square in Downtown Moscow! The Market runs from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. May through October and features live music, fresh local produce, delicious homemade baked goods, specialty food items, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers, and quality handmade crafts.

Music: Live music at Friendship Square will be provided by Delta G at 9:30 a.m. and Monster Bindle at 11:45 a.m.

Special Events: The Farmers Market Commission will be featured in the City Tent from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and the City of Moscow High Five Passport Program will have fruit and vegetable tasting from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Vendor of the Week: Runner Bean Ranch is small farm outside of Palouse, WA. Product highlights include:  baby carrots, baby turnips, radishes, kale, spinach, salad greens, and more. Runner Bean Ranch has been a vendor at the Moscow Farmers Market for 1 year.

Shop the Market: Area families can use EBT or SNAP benefits. Visit the Shop the Market booth at the City Tent to receive “Market Money” which vendors will accept for approved purchases.

Please remember that no animals, except for ADA service dogs, are allowed at the Moscow Farmers Market.
