Call for Artists – Art Celebrates Wilderness


July 28, 2014 (Moscow, Idaho) – The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission are seeking submissions for the Third Street Gallery’s upcoming exhibit titled “Celebrating Wilderness: Art Celebrates Wilderness”.



The exhibit celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act and will feature a Speaker Series by the Idaho Humanities Council. Original work in all mediums may be submitted for consideration. Wall pieces must be framed with a wire hanger.



This call is open only to individuals 18 years-of-age or older who live in the Northwest region of the United States. Work may be for sale with a 20% commission and 6% sales tax taken into consideration. Artists from out-of-town are responsible for delivering and picking up their own work. Please ensure that all works submitted for consideration are in good condition and will withstand ordinary strains of packing and transportation.



The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, September 3, 2014 by 5:00 p.m.
