PRESS RELEASE
Peace Crane Project – Wonder Works Day Camp and the Humanists of the Palouse

July 24, 2014 (Moscow, Idaho) — Don’t miss the Peace Crane Project this Saturday, July 26 in Friendship Square. The Peace Crane Project is a community art project of Wonder Works day camp sponsored by the Humanists of the Palouse. For the Project, kids ages 7 to 11 created and decorated a number of origami paper cranes which will be on display in the trees at Friendship Square this Saturday, weather permitting.

“The cranes were made and decorated by the kids as part of the theme for that day, Creating Peace,” says Janny Stratichuk, Wonder Works day camp director.

Wonder Works kids are participating in the Peace Crane Project in order to promote world peace and raise awareness of the International Day of Peace.
