City of Moscow Hosts Candidates for Fire Chief Position

July 8, 2014 (Moscow, Idaho) - The City of Moscow will host four candidates for the Fire Chief position, currently being handled by Interim Fire Chief and Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal Joe Williams.  Candidates will interview and meet with appropriate staff, elected officials, and Moscow Volunteer Fire Department representatives beginning July 9 through July 11.

Final candidates include:

*        Jason Blubaum, Fire Chief at Mica Kidd Island Fire, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

*        Steven DeChellis, Former Fire Chief at Aramco Fire Department, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, residing in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

*        Brian Nickerson, Division Chief/Fire Marshal at Los Alamos County Fire Department, Los Alamos, New Mexico

*        Gary Woodson, Former Fire Chief/Paramedic at City of Pendleton, Pendleton, Oregon

The successful candidate for the position is expected to be announced by July 18.
