Yes.  Some government jobs offer decent wages, benefits, and retirement.  Some Bus drivers, fire fighters, police officers, and other civil servants make much more that $180,000 through overtime.  Good to have choices.

<Why is the House out of session EVERY August?>
Because
 the Congressional recess is in August.  This means that the Senate 
which is presently controlled by the stinking rotten DEMOCRATS is also 
out of session.  But for some obvious reason only the recess of the bumbling Republican House irks you (yes - we know - you gotta be true to your own biases).

- Obama has continued with Bush's Wall Street policies
- Obama has continued with Bush' foreign policy (albeit with tactical changes)
- Obama has continued NSA spying
- Obama has expanded executive authority
- Sunil could go on but it would fall upon deaf ears for anyone who subscribes to the religion of Republican = bad, Democrat = good

<Who are the REAL takers?>
Democrats.  They take from the wealthy and give to the poor.  And note, I have no objection with present percentages of this taking / giving.

As we enter July (the House's busiest month with 16 days in session . . . more than August, September, and October combined), I have a question . . .
Why is the House out of session EVERY August?
With a do-nothing congress in session a total of 112 days this year, why are people upset with President Obama who is getting things done . . . in spite of Congress.
