[Vision2020] Developing the corridor

<Many things are negotiated behind closed doors.>
No surprise here. That's the way business is routinely conducted when scoping out ventures.

<This bond will cost the residents of Pullman.>
How much additional money on average will come out of the pocketbooks of the residents of Pullman with the bond as opposed to without the bond?

<Moscow businesses will face more competition if this mall is built.>
Can you site specific examples of this? Which businesses being currently being blocked from setting up shop in Moscow that would otherwise be permitted to set up shop in the so-called megamall?

<Taxes may increase for Moscow businesses and residents. >
Based on what mechanism?

<Ok, so who really is going to get rich off a scheme to build a mall and
vast acres of parking lot rivaling the size of the U of I campus?>
Why is this relevant? Let's just hypothetically say it's either 1) Moscow's hated Devil Preacher, or 2) Moscow's beloved Tom Hansen. How would you block Mr. Mean on legal grounds that would hold no water in blocking Mr. Not-So-Mean?

Many things are negotiated behind closed doors. I am guessing the below article speaks of one such back room deal.
This bond will cost the residents of Pullman. Moscow businesses will face more competition if this mall is built. Taxes may increase for Moscow businesses and residents.
Ok, so who really is going to get rich off a scheme to build a mall and vast acres of parking lot rivaling the size of the U of I campus?

I like how it is so conveniently located for Whitman County residents!!

And of course the need is severe! Especially since the PM has not at full
occupancy, forever as far as I know!!

I do KNOW that my argument won't hold any water. It's just my opinion.
But, I doubt there is any way to make it look "pretty" from the
 highway.

I don't think the 'eyesore' argument will hold much water in trying to block

can always be made to look 'pretty' viewing it from the highway.

I agree, it's pretty big!
No need for this big eyesore, in my opinion.

Looks like a mega-mall to me.

Again I ask: From what source, and with what agreement, is this mall to
receive water?

Hmmm.
