On Wednesday (January 15th), 3 pm to 5 pm, the City of Moscow will sponsor a workshop regarding the nature and type of loads to be transported through Moscow later this month. Representatives from the City of Moscow, Latah County, ITD, state/local law enforcement, as well as Mammoet Transportation will participate.

"In order to fully address the questions at hand, public testimony will not be included as part of the workshop."

"Mayor Bill Lambert explains, 'As we work with our partner agencies and in an effort to facilitate the best information sharing possible on a limited timeline while respecting each of the participants and our community, it is extremely important that citizens submit their comments and questions prior to the workshop so they can be shared and discussed to the best extent possible.'"

So, there will not be any public Q&A at Wednesday's workshop.

One question: WHY?

Public Q&A was extremely beneficial and informative at the megaload workshop conducted in City Hall on June 28, 2010.
