The non-native varieties of Phalaris arundinacea, Reed Canarygrass, are recognized nationwide as a serious threat. They form dense colonies in moist, open areas, preventing the establishment of other grasses and forbs. Dr. Linda Hardesty will present an update of the extensive research on this invasive species.

For more information, send email or call Dave Skinner at 208 874 3205.

Please circulate the attached poster for this event. Sonja will be posting at Moscow Food Co-op, One World Cafe, and the Moscow Library, and will send it to other libraries and to a few UI and WSU departments.
