Better than television: Two resident felines monitor the activities of a large flock of ducks and geese that took up residence in a parking lot between Monroe and Lincoln streets, south of Broadway Avenue on Monday in Spokane. After several minutes of hyper-vigilance, the cats wandered back to a warmer spot.
