The inflation-adjusted median household income in Latah County, Idaho, peaked in 1969 at $46,249. 

Whitman County, Wash.
The inflation-adjusted median household income in Whitman County, Wash., peaked in 1969 at $47,810.In 81 percent of America’s counties, the median income is lower today than it was 15 years ago.
