[Vision2020] Lessons from Ferguson: A conversation on race

On December 11th, the Moscow Human Rights Commission presented a public forum titled "Lessons From Ferguson: A Conversation on Race".  The purpose of this forum can best be described by a couple questions presented by the forum's moderator, Ken Faunce . . .

"The events in Ferguson highlights issues relating to race and racism in America. What can we learn from these events? What does this mean for race and diversity in Moscow?"

The Moscow Human Rights Commission granted Moscow Cares permission to videotape and photograph the event.

The forum consisted of the following panelists:

Rev. Elizabeth Stevens, Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse
Chief David Duke, Moscow Police Chief
Steve Smith, Faculty, UI School of Journalism and Mass Media
Alejandra "Vivi" Gonzales, Director of Diversity, ASUI
